The 12 award categories in 2026 are:

1) Best Kitchen over $250,000

Total project cost – including appliances – must be more than $250,000.

2) Best Kitchen $175,000 to $250,000

Total project cost – including appliances – must be between $175,000 and $250,000.

3) Best Kitchen $100,000 to $175,000

Total project cost – including appliances – must be between $100,000 and $175,000.

4) Best Kitchen under $100,000

Total project cost – including appliances – must be less than $100,000.

5) Best Specialty Kitchen

Project that combines great design and enhanced functionality including butler pantries, secondary kitchens, summer kitchens or outdoor kitchens.

6) Best Master Bathroom over $125,000

Total project cost must be more than $125,000.

7) Best Master Bathroom $75,000-$125,000

Total project cost must be between $75,000 to $125,000.

8) Best Master Bathroom under $75,000

Total project cost must be less than $75,000.

9) Best Secondary Bathroom

Project must contain a toilet, sink, tub and/or shower.

10) Best Powder Room

Project must contain a toilet and a sink but not a tub or shower.

11) Best Dealer or Designer Showroom

Well designed dealer or designer showrooms focusing on kitchen and/or bath products and design, not manufacturer showrooms.

12) Best Specialty Project

Project that combines great design and enhanced functionality in "other-room" spaces of the home, including mudrooms, laundry rooms, entertainment areas, home offices or master bedroom suites.
